Creative Workshop Assistant
Job Description:
We are a creative branding & fit out company offering interior design, office fit-out, company branding, signage and custom acoustic cutting.
Our installations are imagined, manufactured in house and fitted as bespoke projects in commercial companies across Ireland.
This will be both office based, here in Shannon, County Clare and customer site visits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a strong team player for our busy workshop who can follow production instructions and order fulfilment
Read and interpret basic Engineering and Assembly Drawings.
Set up of CNC machine program on computer responsible for the machinery.
Follow safety requirements and maintain certifications.
Run tests before the start of operations, programming and monitoring of machines.
Inspect the cnc cut product for quality assurance.
Perform daily maintenance on the cnc machines.
Handle materials appropriately and safely
Assist with the manufacturer of custom fit-outs ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately according to drawings.
Use a range of power tools - drills, saws, abrasive tools, etc.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company standards.
Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines and quality requirements.
Assisting with application of graphics to various mediums
Using large format printers and cutting software, software output and operating CNC Machinery, vinyl cutters and laminators & laser machine.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Teamability with good communication and time management skills
Energetic, reliable and willing to learn new skills
Experience in carpentry, furniture making, fitout or similar is essential
Experience in CNC Machine software and operation.
An understanding of the printing and creative industry
Excellent knowledge & skill in the use of power tools and hand tools
Ability to read drawings & prioritise
Self motivating with excellent attention to detail
Understand and promote the importance of quality workmanship
