Overview
As the leader of PEP's new Global F1 Partnership this role will lead the Global orchestration of the platform across the PEP system (across Regions, Categories/Brands, Anchor Markets, Functional Teams).
This will involve orchestrating activation across 24x races in the annual F1 calendar.
The role involves heavy influencing and coordination of 2x Global Teams, 5x Sector Teams, and many more key Business Units to drive alignment of the strategy & implementation across our Global brands & business.
Responsibilities
Lead & own strategic relationship with F1
Drive leverage of platform across full PEP Foods & Beverages system
Lead development & execution of all in-built sponsorship rights & assets
Lead execution of key tentpole F1 moments/events (Opening Race, Las Vegas Race, etc) + deep partnership with Markets/Bottlers across the 24x Race Locations
Qualifications
Experience in managing & nurturing highly strategic relationships with biggest sports & entertainment rights holders in the world (e.g. UEFA, FIFA)
Experience in managing large scale experiential events (real world & virtual)
Experience in managing large indirect teams (agencies and freelancers associated with scale experiential events)
Expert understanding of sports industry landscape
Abiity to navigate matrix organization at its most complex (multiple brands, multiple global teams, all regional teams, 100+ global markets)
Very strong sense for organizational dynamics, ability to build highly trusted relationships and influence through both formal and informal channels
Comfort and courage to take calculated risks, deal with high ambiguity and operate in the grey
Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect, with peers, team members and senior executives
Resilience in the pursuit of objectives, willingness to take on new challenges and work to resolve issues
