HRIS Programme Manager
About the Role
A leading Agri-Food organisation in the North-West/Border region is seeking an experienced
HRIS Programme Manager
to join its IT team ahead of a major infrastructure project commencing in the new year.
The
HRIS Programme Manager
will lead and coordinate multiple HRIS workstreams, with a primary focus on
implementing a new SAP Payroll system
. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic and operational HR technology initiatives across the business.
The position is offered on a
hybrid basis
, requiring onsite presence
2 (occasionally 3) days per week
. Initially a
6-month contract
, there is a strong likelihood of extension due to the scale of the project.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee delivery of multiple HRIS-related projects.
* Ensure alignment of HRIS initiatives with business goals and HR strategy.
* Manage interdependencies, risks, and resource allocation across workstreams.
* Provide leadership and direction to project teams and stakeholders, including regular programme status updates.
* Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Payroll, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
* Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
* Manage configuration, testing, data migration, and go-live activities.
* Ensure payroll compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements.
Required Experience & Skills
* Degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Minimum
5+ years
senior IT Project/Programme management experience.
* Proven experience in programme management of HRIS systems in complex environments.
* Strong project management experience delivering
SAP Payroll
(SuccessFactors, ECP, or SAP HCM).
* Detailed understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and integrations.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience working in matrixed or global organisations.
Desirable
* SAP certification in Payroll or HR modules.
* Familiarity with GDPR and data privacy in HR systems.
* Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
