About the Role
This exciting opportunity will see you lead our growing structures division, contributing to various infrastructure projects such as drainage area plans, wastewater treatment plants and water infrastructure upgrades.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drive operational and commercial performance of the structural team, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
* Lead and mentor engineers and technicians, supporting their technical development.
* Ensure high-quality design deliverables across all projects.
* Coordinate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and external consultants.
* Manage team resources, delegate tasks, and track project budgets.
* Collaborate with other sectors and disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
* Support recruitment efforts as the team continues to grow.
Key Requirements:
* A third-level degree in engineering (Level 8 or higher).
* Chartered Engineer status, or equivalent.
* At least 15 years' experience in structural engineering, with a strong technical background.
* Strong commercial awareness.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
