This is a challenging role for an experienced Contracts Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, from planning and procurement through to execution and completion.
The ideal candidate will have strong budgeting, financial management, and risk assessment skills, with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites within the Midlands region are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Oversee end-to-end management of multiple projects.
* Contract Oversight: Manage all contract requirements, including negotiations, terms and conditions, risk assessment, and contract compliance.
* Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, implementing cost-control measures to meet financial targets.
* Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress by coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
* Quality Assurance: Enforce quality standards, ensuring all work complies with relevant specifications, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety across all sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and practices.
* Stakeholder Communication: Act as primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations regarding project milestones and deliverables.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction management in Ireland.
* In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements.
* Proficient in project management software and MS Office suite.
