Barden are delighted to be partnering with a global organisation to support the appointment of a German-speaking Credit Controller to join their established Shared Services team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys ownership of accounts, working to targets, and building strong relationships in an international environment.
This role will suit a Credit Controller who is comfortable managing a defined customer portfolio, enjoys day-to-day interaction with customers, and takes pride in maintaining a clean aged receivables position.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You'll take responsibility for credit control activities across a defined sales region, with a strong focus on timely collections, account accuracy, and customer engagement. You'll work closely with Customer Service and internal stakeholders, playing a key role in ensuring smooth order-to-cash operations.
* Manage day-to-day credit and collections for a portfolio of customer accounts
* Achieve monthly collection targets and maintain a healthy aged receivables profile
* Act as a key point of contact for German-speaking customers
* Reconcile customer accounts and resolve queries in a timely manner
* Collaborate closely with Customer Service to support efficient order release
* Monitor adherence to agreed credit terms and policies
* Assess customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits where appropriate
* Build strong working relationships across the wider Shared Services team
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* Minimum of 18 months' experience in a Credit Control role
* Fluent German and English are essential
* Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar
* Strong attention to detail and numerical ability
* Confident communicator with a solutions-focused mindset
* Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working to deadlines and targets
* Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle
