We are seeking an experienced Project commercial manager to join our team in Kildare.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain excellent client relationships and represent the company's interests at meetings.
Support sector directors with commercial and contractual duties as required.
Liaise with internal departments to improve financial and operational processes.
Prepare and manage interim, monthly, and final valuations, applications for payment, and reconciliations for contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, and specialists.
Monitor cash flow, contract performance, and ensure recovery of all monies due.
Assist in placing supplier agreements and subcontracts, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
Conduct detailed contract reviews, highlight anomalies, and ensure adherence to all contractual obligations.
Prepare projected financial outcomes, valuations, and cost reconciliations for contract control meetings.
Record and manage contractual delays, claims, and adjustments in line with company procedures.
Provide leadership, guidance, and morale support to direct reports.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
Safeguard company and client assets, confidential information, and ensure proper documentation of commercial correspondence.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
Membership in a recognized professional institution (e.g., RICS, CIOB).
Minimum 10 years' experience in the construction industry, including public sector contracts.
Strong experience in contract management, valuations, and financial reporting.
Full, clean Irish/EU driving license.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
