Role Purpose
The Recruitment & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and mobilising a skilled workforce to support LMH's international and domestic operations.
This includes managing all aspects of recruitment and ensuring that every LMH team member deployed across Ireland, Europe and the UK meets full legal, client, and project-specific compliance requirements.
This person will serve as a key point of contact between operations, HR, external recruiters, and client compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
Manage end-to-end recruitment for Offsite Manufacturing and Site Installation personnel: Fabricators, Welders, Fitters, Apprentices, Site Steel Installers, General Operatives, etc.
Source talent directly and via agencies; maintain a pool of ready-to-mobilise candidates
Screen, interview, and verify qualifications, references, and employment history
Organise onboarding and coordinate start dates with project managers
Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and forecast workforce needs
Manage visa, work permit, and A1 certificate processes for overseas deployments
Coordinate client-specific inductions, safety training, and certification uploads
Track documentation expiry dates and manage renewals (medicals, passports, certs)
Maintain compliant personnel files and respond to audits or client verification requests
Stay updated on compliance requirements in relevant countries (UK, EU, etc.)
Communicate with client compliance officers to ensure LMH staff meet project onboarding conditions
Work with Offsite Manufacturing and Site Installation managers to ensure timely mobilisation of qualified, compliant workers
Provide weekly staffing and compliance reports to management
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Recruitment, HR coordination, or Compliance/Mobility roles
Familiarity with international workforce compliance in engineering and construction
Strong understanding of cross-border employment issues, onboarding, and documentation
Experience working with client portals
Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
Experience with immigration/work permit law and A1 processes
Experience recruiting trade and technical staff (e.g. steel fitters, welders)
Knowledge of Safe-T-Cert, ISO standards, and HSE requirements
