The company provides a full range of services including utility-scale solar farms, EPC contracting, commercial and residential solar installations, and project integration.Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join EverPower’s growing engineering team. You will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of solar PV, wind, and battery storage projects.Job Tasks and Responsibilities:Lead electrical engineering design for solar PV, wind farm, and BESS projects.Design and review High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems including protection, earthing, and cable sizing.Support development and integration of substations and grid connection infrastructure.Interface with ESB Networks and relevant stakeholders to ensure grid compliance.Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.Ensure compliance with Irish grid codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.Support commissioning and troubleshooting of renewable energy systems.Assist in feasibility studies, tendering, and EPC project delivery.Requirements Skills:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.Member of Engineers Ireland (MIEI/CEng).Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Irish renewable energy market.Proven experience with:Solar PV systems (commercial and utility-scale).Wind farm electrical infrastructure.Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).HV/LV electrical design and analysis.Substation design and grid connections.Strong understanding of Irish grid standards and ESB requirements.Experience with electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD, PVSyst, PVcase).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience working within an EPC contractor environment.Knowledge of SCADA and control systems.What We Offer:Opportunity to work with a fast-growing renewable energy leader in Ireland.Involvement in utility-scale and commercial renewable energy projects.Competitive salary and benefits package.Career progression within a dynamic and innovative company.Join us at EverPower and be part of a dedicated team dedicated to shaping the future of renewable energy and making a positive impact on our planet.
