Site Foreman Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Foreman to lead our construction project in South Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and monitor key stage programmes to ensure timely completion of the project.
* Set up and maintain site security, including site hutting, hoardings, and signboards.
* Take possession of the site, plan and coordinate trades activities.
* Apply for temporary service connections as needed.
* Interpret drawings and specifications and communicate directions to site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Evaluate method statements and risk assessments (RAs) for high-risk activities.
* Request outstanding information from the professional team and confirm all verbal instructions.
* Assist with ensuring all necessary approvals are in place to allow the project to progress without risk.
* Review buildability and identify methods of construction with commercial or programme advantage where possible.
Requirements:
* Pharmaceutical project experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with colleagues, clients, and third parties in a warm and persuasive way.
* A proven track record of at least ten years within a construction management environment with a similar National/Regional Contractor, with a strong track record of high HSEQS standards.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Organised with good time management and capable of proactive planning.
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all the trades required on site, the codes of practice relating to them, and the requirements for them to be able to carry out required works.
