Software Developer - Manufacturing Operations

Description
In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements from internal stakeholders for new Shop Floor System capabilities, new product introductions, and manufacturing process optimisations.
You will work across a broad technology stack to develop software solutions that bring tangible, lasting, positive change to manufacturing operations and the customers we serve.
Collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams is essential to test, deploy, and continuously improve our manufacturing software.
Troubleshooting issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring continued smooth operation of the manufacturing processes we support are also key responsibilities.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment, is also required.
Experience developing web-based, database-driven applications using PHP, MVC application frameworks (e.g. Symfony), and LAMP stack deployment is highly valued.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are also necessary.
Beyond these minimum qualifications, a Master's degree in Computer Science or similar, proven ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment, and experience working with web frameworks (e.g. Symfony, Laravel, Rails, Spring) are highly desirable.
Version Control System experience (e.g. GIT) and understanding of databases, specifically MySQL, are also valuable assets.
Additionally, experience of high-volume manufacturing processes would be beneficial.
