The Role A Senior Financial Accountant is being appointed to take ownership of 23 entities within the group portfolio. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for managing multiple month-end reporting cycles and ensuring accurate, timely financial information is available to senior management. Beyond core financial accounting, the role offers increasing exposure to budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, financial analysis, and commercial decision-support. Working closely with operational and senior stakeholders, you will gain meaningful, practical business-partnering experience in a fast-moving, growing environment. This role is well suited to someone looking to broaden their remit and progress into a more commercial or leadership-focused finance position over time. The Ideal Candidate The business is seeking a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong financial accounting skills and experience managing month-end processes, ideally across multiple entities. Backgrounds from industry, construction, property, or a strong practice environment will all be considered. You will be comfortable working autonomously, able to meet deadlines in a dynamic setting, and motivated by the opportunity to take on ownership and responsibility. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are important, as the role involves regular engagement with non-finance stakeholders.
