We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Technical Operations department as a Business Process Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining and optimizing business processes, with a primary focus on effective onboarding, personnel development, and communication strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Onboarding Optimization: Develop and implement efficient onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring smooth transitions and comprehensive training programs.
* Personnel Development: Collaborate with departmental leaders to identify training needs and opportunities for skill development among team members. Design and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs to foster professional growth and advancement.
* Communication Enhancement: Evaluate current communication channels and protocols within the department and propose improvements to enhance clarity, transparency, and overall effectiveness. Implement strategies to encourage open communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Optimize platforms for visualization, data management, and communication, including designing and implementing customized SharePoint solutions.
* Process Improvement: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for optimization and automation. Develop and implement solutions to streamline operations, improve efficiencies, and increase productivity.
* Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all processes, procedures, and training materials. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including HR, IT, Procurement, and Quality Assurance, to ensure alignment of processes and initiatives. Collaborate on cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
* Contract Management and Procurement: Manage inventory tasks such as contract management, procurement processes for contract renewal, purchase orders, and vendor management. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Vendor Base Rationalization: Analyze and rationalize the vendor base to optimize costs, streamline operations, and improve efficiencies. Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation and monitor vendor performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in business process improvement, project management, or related areas.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with individuals at all organizational levels.
* High proficiency in SharePoint architecture, Microsoft Office suites, and Power Apps.
* Skilled in process mapping, workflow analysis, and project management tools.
* Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
* Experience in Technical Operations or a related field is a plus.
