Accounting Technician qualification or Part qualified Accountant (ACCA,ACA,CPA, or CIMA).
Support Financial Controller with day to day accounting operations.
At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in Sage accounting software, Sage payroll and Microsoft Office.
Process fortnightly payroll and complete ROS submissions.
Maintain a record of payments, Invoices, expenditures, purchase orders and statements.
Verify validity of invoices and entries before making formal entries to system reports and general Ledger. Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
Perform creditor account and Bank reconciliations and prepare VAT returns.
Prepare monthly Financial reports and ad-hoc analysis.
Assist with the annual audit, monthly and year end processes.
Assist in preparation of management accounts & reports.
Review of departmental cash ups and preparation of lodgements.
Maintain accurate records for audits, compliance and reporting.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
Highly numerate with accurate data entry skills and time management skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work under pressure.
Ability to prioritise effectively.
Manage accounts receivable ensuring timely receipt of payments.
Assist with grant applications and complete CSO survey forms.
