Overview
Head Chef and business partner required for the Old Market Bar and Restaurant in Bandon.
A percentage of profits from the business.
Responsibilities
Lead kitchen operations in a busy environment and act as a passionate leader.
Create new menus with a creative license (where applicable) and deliver the finest food West Cork has to offer.
Work with budgeting and labour cost management to optimize profitability.
Ensure HACCP standards are fully implemented and maintained through training and supervision.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Fully trained and certified in HACCP.
Full understanding of budgeting and labour costs.
Creative ability to contribute to menu development (desirable).
Passionate leader suitable for a high-volume kitchen.
Accommodation available if needed.
Compensation
Salary between €50,000 and €60,000 depending on experience.
Bonuses for waste control and labour cost management.
All tips shared equally between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
