Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests upon arrival and anticipating their needs.
2. Drive team performance by encouraging them to maximise room occupancy at best rates.
3. Use persuasive techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
4. Perform check-in, check-out, cash management tasks, and account management duties.
5. Manage online and phone reservations as required.
6. Answer and direct calls through a switchboard to agreed standards.
7. Action guest requests promptly and efficiently.
8. Ensure all security procedures regarding guest belongings are carried out with utmost care and attention.
9. Have a flexible attitude to working days and shifts in accordance with departmental rotas.
10. Review guest requests prior to arrival and ensure they are communicated to relevant departments.
11. Ensure accurate allocations and billing procedures are adhered to at all times.
12. Identify and support training needs and ensure team members are continuously trained on, understand, and adhere to policies and practices.
