Hosted Caregiver / Live-In carer
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care
: Providing essential support with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
This may also include assistance with toileting and incontinence care.
Home Help & Household Management
: Maintaining a functional living environment by performing light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, tidying), laundry, and meal preparation.
You will also handle errands such as grocery shopping and provide basic pet care.
Companionship & Emotional Support
: Engaging in meaningful conversation, promoting social interaction, and accompanying clients on walks or outings.
Daily Administration
: Updating daily activity logs, managing medication reminders, and coordinating with care managers regarding the client's requirements.
Candidate Requirements
Experience:
A minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a caregiver.
Qualifications:
A QQI qualification (or equivalent) in care is required, or a commitment to completing relevant modules after recruitment.
Legal:
Must be able to pass a background check, including Garda Vetting and International Police Clearance where applicable.
Skills:
Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) and basic IT skills for completing timesheets and training (own laptop or tablet required).
Logistics:
Flexibility to work various visit times, including overnights, and a willingness to stay for a minimum term of 12 weeks.

Carer needs to be able to cook from scratch and do light household chores.
Preference is for carers who have experience with dementia, reduced mobility, incontinence, personal care, drivers, flexible on location in Ireland, non-smoker or max.
