Job DescriptionIn a nutshellAs a Business Analyst you will be bridging the gap between business and IT for exciting projects.
You will be the owner of analysis and all related documentation for allocated IT projects; while defining how the scope of the IT project will be implemented within the existing applications, and working closely with the software development team.You will be establishing and maintaining strong regional relations for knowledge sharing and activities to achieve synergy with other BAs in the region, as well as with business units and regional/group teams.Where will you be based and what business will you support?Based in Dublin, you will join a globally distributed Clinical LIMS Europe Program that will extensively be used as the central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe.
The role is crucial in defining project requirements.Eurofins endeavours to develop all of our software applications in-house to service and support our numerous laboratories globally.
With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed every day, the laboratories of the Eurofins clinical diagnostic services business line strive to ensure that every patient, wherever he or she lives, has access to the most specialized and most innovative techniques for diagnosis, monitoring and therapeutic decisions.Such activities require extensive planning and organisation which can be augmented by the use of technologyHow can you help us? As a Business Analyst you will work on:Business requirement management by:Bridging business and IT solutions business relations with stakeholders (including key users, lab managers, and business unit managers) on IT initiatives to ensure successful implementation; Managing and tracking the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; Preparing specifications, documentation;Providing regular updates on assigned requirements;Ensuring proper documentation.Technical tasks by:Defining requirements, user stories, test cases; Working with the Product Owner to prioritise requirements;Preparing changes for Change Advisory Board;Supporting master data migration during projects;Providing training to users on its application scope;Providing post go-live support of any new solution deployed (« HyperCare Support »);Preparing training materials, technical and end-user documentations.QualificationsAre you our kind of extraordinary?You haveProven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development; Experience aligning IT with business initiatives; Experience in project coordination and project management; Experience in specifying requirements on business applications; A strong customer orientation mindset;Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills;The ability to participate in several projects in parallel;A hands-on attitude; Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsAn educational background in the fields of Healthcare and/or information systems;You are:Logical and efficient, with keen attention to details; Self-organised; Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it; Target oriented;A team player; Fluent in written and oral English.
