CNM2/Senior Area Manager

PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT
(CNM2 37.5 Hours per week;
Senior Area Manager 35 Hours per week)
CNM2 Salary: €61,463- € 77,666 * (LSI)
Grade VII Salary: €60,013 - €78,015* (LSI)
* Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience.

Essential:
CNM2
* Up to date NMBI Registration – RNID Desirable
* Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the area of Health Care,
* Experience of working within the area of intellectual disability and those who have behaviours of concern
* Full clean Irish manual driving licence.
* Have a detailed knowledge of the HIQA/ New Directions standards / regulations and Health Act 2007 and the role of the person in charge.
Senior Area Manager
* Diploma in Applied/Social Care awarded by Quality & Qualifications Ireland, (QQI) (formerly HETAC)/DIT or an approved equivalent qualification. (Level 8 is desirable but applicants with level 7 degree who have relevant experience will be considered.)
* Up to date CORU registration/ Confirmation of application for registration submitted to CORU
* Recognised management qualification FETAC/QQ1 Level 6 or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the area of Health Care,
* Experience of working within the area of intellectual disability and those who have behaviours of concern
* Full clean Irish manual driving licence.
Desirable
* Have previous experience at CNM1 level/ equivalent within the area of Intellectual Disability
* Have at least 5 years post registration nursing experience of which 2 must be within disability.
* Have the ability to work effectively with families and the wider MDTE.
* Be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and the capacity to manage change.
*Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework as set out in the Job Description*
