Full- Time, Permanent Responsibilities Make sure that the excellent quality of care given to the residents and their families in the Name of Unit aligns with the nursing home's purpose, vision, values, and strategic plan.
Make sure each person is acknowledged as an individual and that their needs, rights, and comfort are prioritised when providing care.
Build rapport with residents to support their autonomy, well-informed decision-making, and evidence-based decision-making.
Promote and uphold resident safety while delivering high-quality care by honouring each resident's rights, privacy, and dignity.
Increase the residents' ability to make their own decisions and exercise personal autonomy.
When feasible, involve residents in decision-making processes and help them preserve their sense of self.
Requirements Qualification in Nursing (Essential) Irish, EU, or EEA citizenship (Must Have) Licensed by the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board (Essential) Previous experience in care of the elderly.
