Leinster Appointments is seeking a Commercial and Estimating Manager to lead road maintenance projects. This permanent role involves managing contractual and financial elements to ensure timely delivery on budget and to specified standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
* Oversee procurement activities in line with framework and compliance requirements
* Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers and subcontractors
* Lead tendering and quoting processes from pre-qualification through to submission
* Monitor and control project costs, preparing regular cost and progress reports
* Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in commercial, estimating, or quantity surveying roles within the road maintenance or civil engineering sector
* Strong understanding of bituminous / tar surfacing works, materials, and methods
* Demonstrated knowledge of EHSQ standards and compliance procedures in infrastructure or construction environments
