The Role:The Organisational Risk and Resilience Team is responsible for developing and implementing Uisce Éireann's Organisational Risk Management, Policy and Framework and assisting the business in ensuring that appropriate risk management processes are in place to identify, measure, monitor and report their risk profile. The function ensures that an appropriate resilience (Crisis Management and Business Continuity) policy and framework designed, implemented and is operated across the organisation to minimise the impact of a business continuity or crisis management events. The function will also support the development of the UÉ management systems model in line with ISO standards and including the provision of its core support processes (CAPA/Doc Control).Reporting to the Risk Technical Manager, the Risk Management Technical Lead will lead the delivery of all Risk reporting requirements up to and including Board level and will also ensure that an appropriate resilience policy and framework is in operation to minimise impact of a business continuity or crisis management event.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Work with the Risk Technical Managers to ensure there is structured formal review and challenge of the risk profile within their business areas and appropriate mitigation plans in place Work with the Risk Technical Managers to review all risks within the organisation on a timely and proactive basis and ensure appropriate documentation and communication of risksCo-ordinate a suite of reports which escalates an appropriate organisation wide risk profile to Executive and Board Level CommitteesDevelop and complete ad hoc risk reports and presentations as requiredSupport the Risk Strategy & Reporting Technical Manager to deliver on year-end requirements Drive ongoing Ideagen system enhancements and integration with the Integrated Assurance Forum (IAF)Assist in rolling out the ERM Strategy, taking the lead in delivering key risk / resilience projects or initiatives Undertake a key role in planning, designing and implementing the overall risk management framework and process for Uisce ÉireannDevelop and coordinate assurance schedules for business continuity and crisis management for the company, providing reports to Executive and BoardDrive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure appropriate reporting dashboards are developed and reportedAssist in the development of, and drive a culture of risk awareness and engaging risk management at all levels across the organisationWith the Risk Technical Managers and Risk Management Analysts ensure the network of Risk Leads & Champions across the organisation have the necessary training and knowledge to identify and challenge risk profile identification and management, in line with agreed best practiceEnsure the Risk framework is embedded in risk management processes across all business areasIdentify and develop system and reporting enhancements and improvements in support of the risk management frameworkOther duties as required from time to time General Duties and Responsibilities:Collaboration with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ businessResponsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standardsSupport the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation-wide objectivesConducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with Uisce Éireann's Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of UÉ business information, and delivery of critical services, in accordance with the NIS Directive and any other relevant cybersecurity regulation.Conducts duties and responsibilities in management or governance role in a comparable organisationRelevant third level qualification Experience in the development or implementation of Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks would be highly consideredExperience in a utility company or in a regulated industry would be an advantagePrevious experience with initiating and maintaining strategic relationships both internally and externally, using strong influencing skills to achieve business goals Demonstrable experience to continuously developing and improving ways of working and points of escalation for customersExperience in coaching and the development of the technical skills and abilities in others Proven track record with dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely fashion, along with the ability to communicate complex information to othersAnalytical, precise, pragmatic, enthusiastic, result oriented and possessing a strong commercial awareness Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutionsHighly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver resultsDemonstrate adaptability and the ability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirementsProactively identifying new areas of improvement and using newly gained knowledge and skill on
