Opportunity for a highly motivated newly qualified accountant looking for first move to industry to join the finance team of a multinational corporate services provider as a Financial Accountant. Based in Dublin City Centre, this role would allow the successful candidate to expand their experience in a fast-paced environment conducive to career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accounts for a range of client companies spread across various industry sectors
* Prepare and post journal entries, prepare monthly management accounts for consolidation, generate and process manual / online bank payments, perform bank reconciliations and prepare ad-hoc financial reports for clients as required
* Review investor reports, cash manager reports, portfolio performance information including trades to prepare reports reflecting the movement of the portfolio
* Work with investment managers, servicers, account banks, statutory auditors and tax advisers in meeting deadlines and serving the client's needs
* Prepare and file Tax, VAT, and other relevant returns as necessary
* Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
* Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA with up-to-date accounting knowledge and the ability to construct accounts from unstructured data
* Experience in working with clients within a small - medium sized accountancy firm is desirable or Big 4 with an FS background
* At least 1-2 years' experience working in a complex deadline-driven environment with a focus on client satisfaction
* Excellent Word and Excel skills
