Technical Business Development Manager - Clare

Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve agreed sales targets and personal objectives as set by the Managing Director.
* Identify and target potential clients, proactively network and build relationships.
* Complete regular market, competitor and sector analysis.
* Hold regular communication meetings with project team members throughout process.
* Proactively work on project pipeline.
* Complete and submit regular sales reports to Managing Director.
* Ensure that all information contained within bids is accurate and that commercial solutions detailed can be delivered at agreed margin.
* Follow business process for new contract set-ups.
* Ensure handover to Operations is seamless.
* Travel to Trade Shows.
* Presentations to new and existing customers.
Skill and Experience Requirements:
* Expert knowledge of the sub-contract engineering industry, specifically precision CNC machining.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop compelling, commercially viable proposals for all service offerings.
* Excellent PC and organisational skills. Ability to produce/interpret/analyse reports, prepare presentations and tender documents.
* Ability to project manage with experience in various aspects of manufacturing industry including Sales, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, Production Management, Project Management, Site Management, Resource Planning and Scheduling.
* Proven ability to work to targets & KPI's.
* Strong solutions sales experience.
