This role offers you the chance to be at the forefront of digital transformation in engineering, working on projects that shape our world. You’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on how we approach complex project challenges.
As a Digital Lead you will lead business digital disciplines on Jacobs projects and programmes. You will be accountable for managing aspects of digital and technology, coordinating with the pursuit and delivery leadership teams through the Project and Program Directors. You will interface with Jacobs and client corporate IT organisations, reporting to the Project or Program Manager.
This role is your opportunity to:

Deliver the digital strategy across infrastructure projects, setting the standard for best practices
Collaborate with global teams to align cutting‑edge solutions to client needs
Analyse client needs and craft compelling digital solutions that win tenders and exceed expectations
Identify and implement emerging technologies that offer significant technical and financial benefits
Act as the crucial link between Jacobs’ corporate IT, client organisations, and project teams
Translate complex technical concepts into strategic direction for executive leadership
Design and deploy technology changes that transform project delivery and efficiency
Develop and own project digital blueprints, services requirements, standards, and strategies
Mentor and guide teams of digital SMEs, fostering a culture of controlled innovation
Ensure compliance with digital and IT laws while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible
Participate in building client relationships and major proposals, lending your expertise to win new business
Manage budgets strategically, ensuring optimal performance and return on investment

A degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with industry experience that showcases your expertise.
Proven track record of successfully delivering delivery‑oriented digital scopes within large‑scale projects or programmes.
In‑depth understanding of cutting‑edge Digital and Technology best practices, processes, and emerging trends.
Demonstrated ability to inspire and guide a team of senior technical professionals.
Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with a talent for navigating complex tasks and projects.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, impactful communications for all levels of management and executive leadership.
Keen judgement in escalating significant issues and involving senior management at the right time.
Natural networking abilities, adept at building strong relationships across departments and with key external stakeholders.
