Carr Golf has been owned and operated by the renowned Carr family for more than 35 years, during which time we have become the leader in a wide range of golf services, including golf course management and maintenance, international golf travel and distinct events throughout the year.
We are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join our busy Finance Team full-time.
Reports to: Finance Manager
Responsibilities
Responsibility for invoice posting and processing payments
Dealing with supplier queries & reconcile supplier accounts
Raising monthly sales invoices
Responsibility for receipt posting
Assist with Monthly management accounts preparation, including Balance sheet reconciliations
Bank & credit card reconciliation
Liaise with operational teams, suppliers, customers, and auditors
Support the Finance Manager with various Ad/Hoc tasks
Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls
Requirements
1 + years of Accounts experience
Must be well organised
Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable
Use Excel extensively for reconciliations, reporting, and analysis
Proficient user of cloud-based accounting package, preferred Xero
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
AAT or equivalent experience is advantageous
