PwC's pension consulting practice specialises in developing long-term, cost-effective pension strategies, including defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) plans, to balance employer costs and member benefits. The team sits within PwC Private and provides financial planning and wealth management support to clients, and combines tax, investment and pension planning to deliver market leading solutions. We have a strong dynamic team committed to delivering innovative solutions to our diverse client base. Our clients are varied and include leading multinationals in the technology, pharma and financial services sectors through to Irish based Plcs, start-up's and growing private companies.

What we do:
We provide independent advice to both employers and individuals, to ensure that they are managing their pension arrangements effectively and efficiently. Whether you are an individual, a company or a Trustee board, our team focuses on delivering an honest, unbiased view of the pension and investment strategy that will work for you.

Our financial planning team works with clients to establish clearly defined financial objectives. We support people to develop a tailored structure and discipline around their financial affairs, and as they plan their savings and investments, retirement and family protection.

You'll

lead complex and challenging assignments while building strategic relationships with a diverse client base.


You'll

be expected to bring innovative ideas to clients while keeping abreast of the wider


pension

policy landscape.


You will be market facing

driving business development initiatives across all industries and sectors.


You'll

be expected to innovate to solve complex problems and collaborate to develop digital tools to help us maximize the client experience.

- Responsible for the financial aspects of projects including budgetary and time constraints.

About you – Key skills and competencies:

* At least 10


years' experience

in


the


Pension

or Investment


consulting


space


with at least 5 years of managerial experience. The ideal candidate would have


spent


the majority of

their time


on consulting projects.
- Degree in accounting, economics, finance, international business,

law

or other relevant disciplines/areas.
- Post-graduate degree or qualification with a strong academic record.
- Excellent business acumen; ability to think commercially on projects and share industry insights with teams.
- Ability to

identify

gaps in the market, undertake and lead business development activities.
- Actively seeks market facing opportunities to build their profile in the market.
- Proven

track record

of


being responsible for

multiple complex projects within budgetary and time constraints while consistently delivering a strong level of client satisfaction.
- Proven

track record

of delivering year on year profitable growth for the business.
- Expert

at successfully

leading multiple engagements across all attributes including coaching and training, technical


disciplines

and


financial management

.
- Exceptional technical skills and a proven

track record

of


maintaining

relevance in an evolving marketplace.
- Ability to move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
- Ambitious –

demonstrate

strong commitment to personal self-directed learning and development, building market profile, seeking growth and progression opportunities.
