Breffni Air are a market-leading specialist contractor in mechanical and electrical installations, involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Food Processing, Data Centres and Technology.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Co-Ordinator to join our team on site in both Limerick and Carlow working 2 days in Carlow and 3 in Limerick. This is a 6 month contract but may be extended project dependable.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing organisation and gain hands on experience in the process of overseeing the quality of our products. The ideal candidate will work closely with the site team to drive and develop quality management system with acute attention to detail.
The Role:
QC/QA
· Develop & maintain Quality Plans, Quality Manuals, Quality Systems, and all maintain and record all related documentation.
· Management, implementation, and maintenance of the Company's quality ISO standards.
· Work with clients to ensure that their quality standards & procedures are being adhered to and implemented with compliant submissions issued for approval.
· Develop and provide training materials for members of the Breffni Air team to enhance quality procedures.
· Manage site compliance and performance in conjunction with Project/Construction managers through company KPI's, reviews and proactive management.
· Completion of audits in line with client requirements and project scheduling.
· Advise management on QA issues and co-ordinate frequent meetings with the client, subcontractors & suppliers.
· Ensure that all documentation and certification is complete and checked for project handover.
· Attendance at Weekly internal team meeting to update on all matters relating to QA/QC.
· Develop Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for all work packs.
· Develop handover documentation packs and manage documentation handover process for each work pack in consultation and conjunction with Engineering and all other documentation providers/ clients team.
Doc Management
· Download Drawing and Model files on receipt from BIM 360 and store in relevant placeholders on the Companies ShareFile system.
· Notify all relevant personnel of files/drawings/model recently received.
· Maintain record of all drawing & model transmittals received.
· Maintain drawing registers with accurate and up to date revision control.
· Manage and maintain the Electronic Document Management System and interface with IT provider/support where required.
· Provide Document Control related input to Quality Management policies and procedures as required.
· Develop handover documentation packs and manage documentation handover process for each work pack in consultation and conjunction with Engineering and all other documentation providers / clients team.
Role Requirements:
· Previous experience in a similar role 2+ years
· A Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline if possible
· 3+ years' experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects
· Experience investigating QA issues and non-conformances
· Demonstrated Excellent attention to detail
· Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills Essential
