Our client is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Social Care Team Lead to join their dedicated team in County Kildare. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to people with intellectual disabilities in a community setting.
About the Role
The Social Care Team Lead will oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring a high standard of care and support is delivered in line with company’s values and HIQA standards. You will lead a team of staff, contribute to the development of care plans, and support the empowerment and inclusion of residents in all aspects of community life.
Candidate Requirements (Essential) for the Social Care Team Lead
* A minimum of a Level 7 QQI qualification – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent in Health/Social Care or related professional discipline
* At least 2 years’ management experience at a similar level of responsibility
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in the health, social care, or voluntary sector
* Strong understanding of quality and safety standards in disability services
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
* Full driver’s licence (essential)
