12 Month Contract
Fully Remote (must be based in Ireland)
Realtime is inviting applications for a Senior Data Engineer to join a client on a 12 month daily rate contract.
Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
* Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
* Work with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda) to manage and process data.
* Integrate and manage NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra).
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to ensure high-quality data delivery.
* Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring reliability and performance.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
* Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services related to data processing.
* Proven experience working with NoSQL technologies.
* Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
