Overview
Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) Client Operation - Associate role at JPMorganChase is focused on delivering premier client service in investment operations. The role involves ensuring seamless transaction processing, accurate data management, and timely settlement, while collaborating with industry experts and leveraging technology to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
* Act as a point of contact within the Global/Regional IBOR team for a client or clients and internal partners to support premier service delivery
* Participate in client service reviews and other client meetings as required
* Own or oversee daily operational activities essential to constructing and delivering client reporting (IBOR)
* Escalate issues, provide service updates, and communicate progress to the client and internal partners
* Identify opportunities to improve service levels and drive efficiency for JPMorgan Chase and the client
* Maintain robust SOPs, procedures, and guidelines to meet risk and control standards
* Participate in key projects to maintain IMOS global strategy as required
* Build strong internal relationships with global operations partners, client service, and other teams (Front Office, Performance & Risk, Compliance)
* Work with management to achieve timely and accurate delivery in a follow-the-sun model
* Oversee reconciliations and transaction lifecycle management as needed
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
* Leadership experience across process, risk and control within Investment Operations, including change management
* Excellent client-facing communication skills and ability to engage with key clients
* Proven ability to lead teams across multiple locations
* Extensive understanding of OTC instruments, Exchange Traded Derivatives, Fixed Income, Equity and other financial instruments
* Track record of meeting deadlines with accountability for independent workload
* Experience in Investment Operations (Trades, Cash and Reconciliations)
* Experience with Reconciliations and transaction lifecycle management
* Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address operational and technical issues
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders

* Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization
* Ability to work cross-functionally with technology, service, product and other operations teams to manage IBOR service delivery
* Flexibility, ability to meet tight deadlines, and strong organizational prioritization
