STEM is a growing Civil & Structural Engineering Company based in Sandyford Co. Dublin.
We currently have exciting opportunities for bright, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to join our new and growing specialist team as a Junior Engineer in our friendly and relaxed office.
Candidates will have a degree in structural engineering and be keen to undertake professional development towards Chartered Engineer status with either the IEI, ICE or IStructE. The ideal candidate should have some experience in working to Eurocodes/British Standards, and have experience using 3D modelling software (Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, etc.), as well as having strong communication and interpersonal skills in the English language.
Working alongside our experienced team you will be designing using software Tekla and Tedd software packages, coordinate the structural and civil engineering design with other members of the Design Team using online collaboration tools, drawing in 2D & 3D using AutoCAD and Revit software with in-house mentoring being provided where required.

Duties:
* Developing details using production tools such as AutoCAD/Bluebeam and/or 3D drawings using Revit
* The successful candidate will contribute to project design from the conceptual to the construction stages.
* Working alongside our experienced team gaining extensive experience on a wide range of projects.
* Undertake structural analysis using Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer, or other structural software.
Requirements:
* Relevant Engineering Degree (Third Level)
* Experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit
* Residing in Dublin or surrounding area would be an advantage for reduced commute to promote a healthy life/work balance.
* Excellent Communicational Skills (Written & Verbal)
