Content Project Manager Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled Content Project Manager to join their team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with possible extensions thereafter. The role is a Remote Working arrangement (with an occasional requirement to attend in-person meetings in Dublin or other locations). Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €31.08 per hour based on an annualised salary of €56,757. You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays. About the Role: We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Content Project Manager to oversee a large-scale content project. This role will be crucial in ensuring smooth workflow processes, clear communication across teams, and timely delivery of high-quality content. As the Content Project Manager, you will work closely with content designers, content publishers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and stakeholders to ensure that content is developed, fact-checked, and finalised efficiently. Technical expertise and technical project management experience is not required for this role though Key Responsibilities: Content workflow management: Oversee the end-to-end content creation process, ensuring that content moves seamlessly through all stages of the workflow. Manage timelines, priorities, and deadlines, ensuring content is delivered on time and meets quality standards. Coordinate with content designers, writers, and other team members to assign tasks and monitor progress using tools such as Excel and SharePoint. Team collaboration and communication: Ensure all content designers understand their responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines. Communicate project goals, expectations, and requirements clearly to ensure smooth collaboration. Act as a liaison between content teams and subject matter experts, ensuring that all parties have the necessary information and resources to complete their work. Subject-matter expert (SME) management: Manage a range of subject matter experts (SMEs), ensuring they are fully informed about their role in the content process. Provide clear instructions to SMEs on how to fact-check content, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Guide SMEs on how to effectively use Content Workflow, our content authoring tool. Regularly follow up with SMEs on deliverables and escalate issues as needed to ensure project timelines are met. Content Authoring Tool Training and Support: Ensure all team members are well-trained in using Content Workflow and any other relevant platforms. Provide troubleshooting support and assist team members with any issues related to content creation and tool usage. Governance and Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular project updates to the governance group, highlighting progress, potential roadblocks, and achievements. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project success. Proactively identify and address any risks to the project's timeline, scope, or quality. Process Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve content workflows, tools, and communication processes to enhance efficiency. Implement best practices and lessons learned to optimise future content projects. Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders will suffice). Proven experience in content management, project management in a non-technical field, or a related field. Strong understanding of content workflows and content management tools. Experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams, including designers and subject matter experts. Expertise in using tools such as for project management and tracking tasks. Familiarity with Content Workflow or similar content authoring tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure. Proactive problem solver. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with large-scale content project management.
