Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of multiple products. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate production processes for multiple products
* Plan and prioritize production operations to maximize performance and minimize delays
* Collaborate with managers on changes to production lines
* Liaise with Sales, Logistics, and Operations teams for production requirements
* Monitor inventory flow to prevent shortages and bottlenecks
* Develop and maintain production schedules and deadlines
* Maintain MRP functions and provide production status updates
* Support Supply Chain Manager and escalate issues promptly
* Prepare and maintain forecasting and planning reports
* Participate in improvement projects and collaborate with consultants for IT support
* Perform administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
* 2+ years' experience in a similar production coordination role
* Strong knowledge of SAP systems and ability to coordinate planning schedules to meet customer demands
* Experience in production planning in a manufacturing industry is desirable
