About the Role
The Senior Buyer plays a pivotal role in orchestrating all activities related to planning and procurement of components. This includes converting Master Schedule and detailed schedule (MRP) outputs into material requirements, ensuring timely availability of necessary quantities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop & Execute the Materials Requirement Plan (MRP), optimizing balance between quality, service, reliability, and cost to meet patient/customer needs while maintaining compliance
* Evaluate master data of materials in SAP for accurate signals reception
* Communicate material delivery schedules to suppliers on time to meet planned requirements
* Maintain raw material and consumable inventories within targets while minimizing excess, obsolete, or expired materials
A strong self-starter who uses initiative to identify issues as they arise is required for this position. The role involves effective team collaboration both internally at site level and with global functions.
