Job Title: Community Health Ambassador
Job Summary:
This role is ideal for a skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about promoting community health and wellbeing. As a Regional Health Advisor, you will play a key part in supporting services that benefit communities, families, and children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site visits, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
* Support line managers with training and ongoing awareness initiatives
* Lead by influence gently, respectfully, and effectively
* Report on findings, incidents, and initiatives to stakeholders
* Promote a positive, proactive safety culture within the organization
Requirements:
* A Level 8 qualification (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety
* At least 3 years experience in a multi-site or community-based setting
* Strong working knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and management systems
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to staff from all backgrounds
* Confidence to work independently and plan your own diary
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
