This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to showcase their pastry expertise and contribute to a high-quality culinary offering.Key Responsibilities: Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
Assist with the development and creation of new dessert menus and seasonal offerings.
Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene at all times.
Manage pastry section inventory, stock rotation, and ordering of supplies.
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene standards (HACCP).
Train and guide junior pastry staff where required.
Maintain a clean and organised pastry section at all times.
Requirements: Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar pastry role within a professional kitchen.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert preparation.
High attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Fluent English (spoken and written).
Full eligibility to work in Ireland (valid work permit, if required).
