Your new company This local leading manufacturing business is now looking for an Assistant Accountant to help drive the business forward following a period of growth over the last few years.

Your new role As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in their finance team, Accounts receivable and credit control Assist in the preparation and reporting of weekly P+L's Accounts payable - work with company accountant to ensure that all creditor invoices have the appropriate backup and are ready for sign off Posting of purchase ledger invoices Bank reconciliations daily Stock review Vat returns Intra Stat Sales Reporting Accruals / prepayments Other adhoc duties, such as sales orders and assisting company accountants in their day-to-day work What you'll need to succeed A minimum of 2 years of current experience in a similar role Ideally, experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics A curious, driven, and ambitious mindset.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of accounting principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
