Job Overview
A main contractor who has ongoing projects throughout Ireland are seeking a Site Manager to support their team on a new build commercial and residential project in Arklow.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Checking plans, drawings and supervision of subcontractors across the project.
Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
Ensure work is carried out to the highest of standards.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to adhere to the construction programme.
Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site and ensuring that regulations are adhered to.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience as a Site Manager working with a main contractor.
7+ years working is a site management position.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
Knowledge of latest building regulations and certification standards.
A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
Computer literate.
Good knowledge of safety and quality management.
