Field Sales Manager

The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting a wide range of brands and services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Working with the field sales and merchandising teams to increase sales growth.
* Managing the sales pipeline and ensuring consistent progress and growth.
* Developing clear strategies to grow business and strengthen market position.
* Actively seeking new opportunities by reaching out to potential clients and exploring new sales channels.
* Building strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering solutions.
* Staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
* Representing the company at trade events and exhibitions as a brand ambassador.
* Identifying potential issues affecting sales early and taking steps to manage them.
* Regularly reporting on performance, tracking key sales metrics such as pipeline growth, forecast accuracy, conversion rates, and sales cycle length.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills for building relationships, influencing decisions, and providing trusted advice. They will also have experience in creating and developing functional sales teams, expertise in time management and prioritization of tasks, and a proven track record as a high achiever with a hunger to succeed.
Previous experience in a Business Development role, ideally in FMCG or DIY sectors, is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will be results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
