As Commis Chef within our company, you will work with an exceptional team delivering dining services in Mayo University Hospital.

Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in the day-to‑day running of the Kitchen.
* Follow the Catering Hygiene Policy guidelines and Aramark's dress code policy, always maintaining a clean uniform and hygienic appearance.
* Supporting and help other kitchen staff as directed by the Head Chef.
* Follow HACCP guidelines and ensure all necessary information is recorded accurately and efficiently.
* Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed, use the FIFO rule.
* Co‑operate fully and participate with/in喬all health and safety training.
* Working alone and within a team.
* Working in a reduced temperature environment.
* Comply with and adhere to all Aramark & Hospital policies and procedures.
* Have Requisite Working Experience.
* Ability to multi‑task and handle multiple roles as required, with a good understanding of all sections of the kitchen.
* Have good organisational skills and work consistently with attention to detail.

You must have
* Previous experience in a similar role in a fast‑paced catering business.
* An interest in people and the drive to deliver exceptional service.
* A background in similar catering settings.
* Knowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCP.
* A problem‑solving mind and solutions‑orientated approach with a flexible can‑do attitude.
* Garda Vetting is a requirement for this role.
