Job Title: Service Engineer Company Overview: Our client is an established, Irish-owned Bakery Equipment Supplier specializing in the design, fit-out, supply, and maintenance of bakery and supermarket equipment.
They are currently seeking a qualified Service Engineer to join their dedicated team.
The role will be based at their Dublin Workshop, with travel to customer sites across the country required.
Key Responsibilities: Electro-Mechanical Expertise: Perform installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial bakery equipment.
Customer Service: Provide a courteous, professional service, developing and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers, as well as subcontractors.
Reactive & Planned Maintenance: Respond promptly to reactive service calls, planned maintenance, and installation requests, ensuring minimal downtime.
Collaboration: Work closely with your Service Manager and team to meet customer expectations and deliver efficient solutions.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to minimize production downtime.
High Standards: Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, in compliance with technical requirements and health and safety regulations.
Flexibility: Adapt to different tasks and responsibilities as required, maintaining flexibility in daily operations.
Documentation: Complete all job paperwork and service documentation on time and to the required standards.
Health & Safety: Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintenance Standards: Ensure all company-supplied equipment is well maintained and kept clean.
Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar field service role (industry-specific experience is not required; full training will be provided).
Electro-Mechanical Skills: Proven experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and diagnostics of machinery.
Independence: Ability to work independently and take initiative, with a strong commitment to completing tasks efficiently at required times and locations.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach to colleagues.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both with customers and colleagues.
Driving License: A full, clean driving licence is required.
