We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Specialist to join our dynamic team in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. As an Electrical Assembly Specialist, you will play a key role in the electrical wiring and mechanical assembly of LV/MV switchgear and control panels.

Main Responsibilities:
">
">
* Assemble electrical switchgear and related electromechanical equipment based on engineering drawings and production schedules.
">
* Maintain high-quality standards both in the factory and at customer premises.
">
* Work from technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure precise assembly.
">
* Contribute to the fitting, building, and construction of various parts for seamless component integration.
">
* Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance, including site modifications and thermal imaging inspections.
">
* Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to company policies and procedures.
">
* Perform testing of panels, including current injection testing.
">
* Support and mentor team members, sharing technical expertise and best practices.
">
* Report on any substandard, malfunctioning, or defective parts.
">
* Select, measure, and modify components to ensure proper fit.
">
* Carry out MTOs and order materials for allocated tasks, both internally and for site works.
">
* Assemble prototype and development units in collaboration with supervisors and managers.
">
* Conduct thermal imaging inspections and compile reports.
">

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
To succeed as an Electrical Assembly Specialist, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
">

* City & Guilds Electrical Qualification and an Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 or Equivalent.
">
* Experience in Electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
">
* Experience in field service work/on-site installations.
">
* Current 18th Edition Certification.
">
* Time-served Electricians or Technicians.
">
* Experience in panel wiring of PLCs, motor control centres, control panels or Industrial installation experience in water treatment plants, petrochemical environments, MCCs, instrumentation, etc.
