Project Manager – Energy Retrofit ProjectsLocation: Wicklow / Wexford RegionSector: Retrofit / Energy Upgrade / Warmer HomesType: Full-time, PermanentAbout the RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of energy upgrade and retrofit works across a portfolio of residential projects. This is a hands‑on leadership role that involves full lifecycle responsibility, from planning through to completion, with a strong focus on sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and high‑quality project delivery.You’ll be joining a company at the forefront of energy retrofit and green construction, working in a fast‑paced environment that values innovation, ownership, and collaboration. The successful candidate will be given autonomy, support, and career development opportunities to thrive in this growing sector.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring retrofit works are completed on time, within scope, and to required quality and safety standards.Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation in line with SEAI and other relevant programme guidelines.Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, managing expectations and ensuring a positive experience throughout the lifecycle of the project.Coordinate with subcontractors, design teams, energy assessors, and internal teams to deliver works efficiently and safely.Manage documentation throughout the works including contracts, schedules, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure installation quality, and address on‑site issues.Ensure adherence to health & safety standards, environmental regulations, and internal company policies.Participate in project reporting, cost tracking, and stakeholder updates.Build strong working relationships with clients, partners, and delivery teams.RequirementsA degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.Proven experience in project management (3+ years) within retrofit, residential construction, or energy upgrade sectors.A strong understanding of building science, BER systems, energy performance principles, and sustainable construction methods.Familiarity with SEAI retrofit schemes, grant processes, and government energy upgrade frameworks desirable.Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and current materials, technologies, and building methods.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — confident managing multiple homeowners and stakeholders.Strong leadership, planning, and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in MS Office and relevant project management or reporting tools.Full clean driving licence (a company vehicle will be provided).
