Our clients seek independent advice and assurance on issues including design and operation of internal controls, security of business-critical systems, delivery of major IT-enabled programmes, outsourced services, governance, and data management.

As a Manager in Technology Risk Services, you will lead technology risk consulting engagements and manage client relationships, assessing technology risk landscapes, developing risk management strategies, and implementing solutions that enhance IT governance and compliance.


Your key responsibilities

* Manage technology risk consulting engagements, ensuring delivery of high-quality services to clients.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding technology risk needs and providing strategic guidance.
* Conduct assessments of clients' technology risk environments, including IT governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology risk management frameworks and solutions.
* Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
* Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
* Contribute to thought leadership and participate in industry events and conferences.
* Support business development by identifying opportunities and assisting in proposals.
* Maintain externally and internally recognised technical expertise in IT Risk Management, IT Controls Testing/IT Audit, Regulatory Resilience (e.g. DORA, Operational Resilience), and Outsourced Services Management.
* Ensure risk management procedures and quality standards are observed throughout assignment delivery.

To qualify for the role you must have

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in technology risk management, IT audit, cybersecurity, or related fields.
* Experience managing consulting engagements and delivering results for clients.
* Strong understanding of technology risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop team members.


Ideally, you’ll also have

* Financial services industry experience (retail banking, insurance, funds, capital markets, payment processors, etc.)
* Knowledge of emerging technology, FinTech, Cloud services and Cybersecurity
* Knowledge of regulation and guidelines impacting the financial services industry
* Knowledge of relevant frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, SOC 1/2/3, NIST, COSO)
* Big 4 management experience and training
