We are looking for a dynamic, focused and driven individual to:
Review processes, tools, and strategies on a regional basis with a keen eye for data-driven insights and process improvement opportunities.
Identify opportunities for global alignment & efficiencies.
Work with regional & global stakeholders through to implementation.
This role requires a combination of business insight, technical expertise, and project management skills to develop and execute a roadmap of automation and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
* The ability to collaborate across teams and integrate both technical and operational knowledge is vital to achieving the objectives of the position.
* This role is highly visible, interacting with teams across regions and functions while networking across Apple's organisation.
* Deep dive into operational data to assess program performance, identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Identify and evaluate operational risks, implementing contingency plans to mitigate them.
* Lead data science, RPA and process improvement initiatives with a strong focus on identifying and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, performance, and scalability in both the EMEIA region and global operations.
* Drive AI, automation, and optimisation solutions for operational challenges, using technical tools to improve processes and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
* Ability to evaluate and interpret large data sets, analyse, and present data with meaningful insights and actionable recommendations to peers and leadership for impactful business decisions.
* Partner with our subject matter experts, data science and BI team to deliver a roadmap of initiatives.
* Champion transformative changes that will result in future proofed and scalable solutions to support Apple's continued growth.
* Strong understanding of how to leverage AI, machine learning, and automation techniques to solve complex operational and business problems that will drive meaningful improvements & efficiencies across all regions.
* Proficient in coding with Python, capable of writing complex queries, automating processes, and developing data models.
Preferred Qualifications
* Confidence to make critical decisions and deliver results under tight timelines, with flexibility to adapt to the challenges of a fast-paced environment.
* Passion for enhancing the customer experience.
* Experience and proficiency with cloud-based databases such as Snowflake.
* A Bachelor's degree in Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
