Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptional Medical Device Research and Development Engineer to spearhead the creation of innovative products and processes. Your expertise will drive the integration of new materials, technologies, and design controls to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
* Provide technical support to cross-functional teams, including NPD, Global Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing
* Lead or support project teams to select and demonstrate the feasibility of alternative materials, processes, or technologies for new and existing products
* Develop and maintain technical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
* Represent the Research & Development function on cross-functional teams throughout the New Product Commercialization process
* Hold a third-level degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
* Possess 5 years of commercial experience in a R&D role within the medical device industry
* Have an understanding of hydrophilic coatings and related technologies
