Job Description
As an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician, you will be a key member of our maintenance team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical and instrumentation systems within the facility.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Perform preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems.
* Calibrate and maintain instrumentation devices.
* Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to identify opportunities for process improvements.
* Follow standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
* Document maintenance activities.
* Participate in training programs to develop and maintain technical skills.
* Respond to corrective breakdown work and troubleshoot route cause analysis with Manufacturing.
* Schedule, complete, and assign Work Orders in a timely manner.
Skills And Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Time served in an engineering technical degree or diploma, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical circuits and control systems.
* Experience with instrumentation calibration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Computer Literacy.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
* Flexibility to work occasional weekends, holidays, or off-hours as needed.
