Project Readiness Lead
A leadership role responsible for organising and controlling all Project Readiness activities for large retrofits and new line introductions. Ensures cross-functional readiness plans, timelines, and resources are developed and executed to enable successful, compliant project delivery.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage Project Readiness deliverables for medium to large projects involving new or existing equipment.
2. Coordinate the cross-functional Project Readiness team and maintain clear communication with the main Project Leader/Sponsor.
3. Develop, track, and support project budgets, timelines, resource plans, and readiness milestones.
4. Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks or roadblocks to ensure uninterrupted project progress.
5. Prepare and present options to management, customers, and stakeholders as required.
6. Apply strong technical writing skills to generate accurate documentation, procedures, and reports.
7. Use project management tools such as Microsoft Project and FPX to monitor and control delivery.
8. Adhere to all JJVC Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards and procedures.
Requirements
9. Experience managing readiness activities or project coordination for medium–large scale technical or equipment-based projects.
10. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence and escalate appropriately.
11. Proven ability to identify risks, propose mitigations, and maintain delivery against key milestones.
12. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, FPX) and formal planning methodologies.
13. Strong technical writing capability for generating clear, compliant documentation and reports.
14. Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
