Our client, a well-established firm in North Wicklow, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations. This is a hands-on role covering banking, payroll, supplier management, compliance, and month-end processes. Location: North Wicklow (Fully on-site, 9:00am - 5:30pm, no parking on site) Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Contract Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Manage client and office accounts, including lodgements, withdrawals, and reconciliations Process EFT payments, cheques, and supplier invoices Handle banking and general financial queries Maintain petty cash and manage month-end processes, including bank reconciliations and VAT/PAYE/PRSI reporting Process payroll, including wages, leave, and Revenue submissions Assist with ROS returns, e-Tax clearances, and other compliance filings Support audits and year-end reporting Liaise with IT and manage financial systems and user access Key Requirements: Previous experience as a bookkeeper Strong knowledge of payroll, banking, and financial systems Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Skills: Banking Processing EFT payments Month End
